Judith was busy in the kitchen when she felt a strange silence in the house.
She went looking for Roger however he was nowhere in the house. He had not left the house nor even jumped out of the window. The window was locked from inside.
Judith saw, abruptly a huge spider’s web had come up inside her swanky clean apartment. Probably an insect was trapped inside the web.
On close observation Judith saw a pea sized human being trapped. It was Roger!!
Judith remembered the curse of the Amazonian spider. It returned after 20 years to avenge Roger’s crime.

Loved your unique story. I am not familiar with the legend but the story reads great, even though it was not-so-great for Roger.
Very nicely done, Balaka.🙂

I enjoyed your quirky take on the prompt, Balaka. There are a few inflated people in this world who could do with diminishing down in size to fit that legendary spiderweb 😉

I found this both sad and amusing – but what now, do you chase the spider away or keep it?

Probably as Rochelle said…it is time for Judith to run

Was this a spider he ordered on Amazon and tried to ship back for a refund? Ha! just kidding.
