Vysehrad, Prague- #WanderfulWednesday

March 28, 2018March 28, 201811 Comments

There are few places on earth that cannot be described in words, Vysehrad is one such place. I was spellbound and instantly fell in love with Prague upon my visit to Vysehrad. This place is so calm that even your own footstep sounds like a commotion. Vysehrad has a church and a cemetery within its … Continue reading Vysehrad, Prague- #WanderfulWednesday

However, irrespective of her lack of confidence in me, I developed quite a few good habits. These good habits were not picked up in a day. They were … Continue reading 5 Good Habits for a Grateful and Positive Life #MondayMusings

March 12, 2018March 12, 201818 Comments

Last week was Women’s Day. A friend of mine called early in the morning and said excitedly “Hey, Happy Women’s Day. Let’s catch up for lunch and then go for a hair spa. Everywhere they have given a discount for Women’s day.” I have done my M.Phil in Women’s Studies and I was dying to … Continue reading Women’s Day, Bored Wife and English Vinglish #MondayMusings

Charles Bridge, Prague #WanderfulWednesday

March 7, 201818 Comments

Charles Bridge is undoubtedly the most romantic destination of Prague. It is a stone bridge built across the river Vltava. The bridge is adorned with close to 30 statues and statutes. It is a pedestrian bridge. Trust me, the best thing to do in Prague is to walk on the Charles Bridge. The Bridge is … Continue reading Charles Bridge, Prague #WanderfulWednesday

My First Idli #TastyTuesday #flavoursometuesday

March 6, 2018March 7, 201822 Comments

My parents were not much into travel. They only used to make an annual trip to Kolkata during the winters. November to February in Gangtok used to be unbearably cold and my Mom’s Kashmiri shawl and Bhutiya cardigans inadequately couldn't ward off the cold. Therefore, she used to land herself in Kolkata and obtain warmth … Continue reading My First Idli #TastyTuesday #flavoursometuesday

Took me 1.5 months to finish this book. I would recommend this book to whoever wants to find some peace and joyfulness in life. Two of the most spiritual and humanitarian holy leader share their insights on how we can find joy in the mundane. How we can get rid of anger and learn to forgive. If you want to heal your soul read this book for some calmness.
Ever since the pandemic hit, we had stopped going out for #girlsnightout. However, now that one of our friends is shifting, we decided to go out. It was midweek, yet Wednesday felt like Friday.
When Wednesday feels like Friday
Happiness is in simple things. Sometimes, just a simple cup of tea, early in the morning is enough to make your day.
