Let’s Not Forget the Roots- #ThursdayTreeLove 54

The roots of all goodness lie in the soil of appreciation for goodness“- Dalai Lama

During the Christmas weekend, we went on a family trip to Murud -Janjira. I spotted this old tree inside Janjira fort. More than the tree the roots fascinated me. If you look carefully you will notice that the plant is at the edge of the soil and it is the deep roots that are keeping the plant in place. I guess for us also it is the roots that keep us in place lest we forget.

Joining once again #ThursdayTreeLove hosted by lovely Parul.

Look at those roots and how strong they look. This picture reminds me of my first few TTLs from Hong Kong. I had spotted a similar tree with the roots that held the tree together and they look so beautiful. Thank you for joining and sharing this beautiful tree.

So beautiful and so strong! I loved this shot, Tina. The tree is standing very firmly even if it is on the edge because its’ roots are deeply entrenched in the ground. Our foundations need to be like that too, so the odds in life don’t topple us over! A very thoughtful message that you convey through this image, Tina. 🙂
