Bhutan is often called the “Land of Serenity”. It is not an exaggeration because the moment you land in Bhutan you can see how peaceful the country and its people are. I do not want to write a lot to describe Bhutan’s serenity and would rather leave a few photos for the readers to see on their own. As they say “a picture speaks a thousand words“. Do let me know if you felt serene after watching these images from Punakha Dzong, Bhutan.

Have heard so much about Bhutan and its beauty. I am imagining the peace and serenity one would experience at this monastery!! Hope we get to visit it sometimes soon!!

Bhutan’s index of happiness is one amongst the top in the world. Going by these pics, I would say mother Nature imparts lessons of peace and tranquility to Bhutan, first hand.

Very beautiful and serene, Tina, just as you describe it. Perfect for the Prompt for FoW and picture perfect for #ww. Love these shots, the desolation and the scenery—all of it so captivating to the eye and the soul! Thank you for joining us with your #ww photo this week. Look forward to your participation in the coming weeks too. 🙂

First thing’s first. That was a good take on the prompt 🙂
I have to agree Bhutan is a serene place from your photographs and from all the numerous blog posts I have read in the last few years. So, it appears Indians are visiting Bhutan a lot and I am highly surprised with so many Indian tourists visiting how has Bhutan still managed to stay clean, serene and peaceful given the fact we create and leave a lot of rubbish everywhere we go.
